Everyday life ate my still-life.
Daily life and creativity — eternal tormenting satellites of any artist. In my still-lifes, I talk about the inevitability of the influence of the household on any creative process. You can fight this, you can put up, or systematize, smash it to different locations and parts of life — here I work and create, but here I wash my dishes and raise my children… Is it possible to integrate everyday life and give it a role not a problem, but a full — fledged participant in the process of creation? If you can’t control the chaos — lead it!
I made this 2 still-lifes during Easter holidays, just allowed my routine be part of it: my daughter’s marks, my itchy thoughts, things to do lists etc.
